DEF LEPPARD To Embark On Two-Month Tour With KANSAS, HEART?
January 11, 2011Thomas Harmon, the Savannah, Georgia resident who is currently building a guitar for Billy Greer, the longtime bass player for the iconic rock band KANSAS, has told Savannahnow.com that Greer hopes to take the guitar on a 60-day concert tour with KANSAS, HEART and DEF LEPPARD in the spring, "so I figure I have the winter to get it done." Harmon said that he plans to have it finished by early February.
DEF LEPPARD is reportedly putting together a live album culled from its 2009 tour that may include some new material as well.
DOWN 'N OUTZ — a project fronted by DEF LEPPARD's Joe Elliott, backed by THE QUIREBOYS and playing rare tracks connected only by MOTT THE HOOPLE — will support Paul Rodgers (BAD COMPANY, FREE, QUEEN) on his U.K. tour in April.
